Dr Ashlea Broomfield, a Coffs Harbour GP who specialises in sex, body image and nutrition, is lying on a couch with a book open in her hands. She's smiling at the camera.

Hi, I'm Dr Ashlea.

I’m a specialist General Practitioner with a specific interest, experience and training in issues around food, sex and bodies.

I am a healer. Of minds. Of bodies.
But I am not your healer.

I am a guide. A facilitator. Of your own healing. Connecting you back to your own internal wisdom.

Your own capacity for connection, kindness and wholeness.

Your inner light.

I’m a medical doctor, with my specialisation in General Practice. I am also a trained therapist, sexologist and credentialed Eating Disorder clinician.

I’m certified in providing psychological strategies, medical nutrition management, meditation coaching and embodiment facilitation.

I work at the intersection of scientific medicine AND psycho-social healing.

I combine the knowledge and practice of medicine with the wisdom of introspection to support others.

In other words, my work is about you, flourishing in all areas of your life: physically, mentally, sexually and spiritually.

This is about your life.

Vibrant, vital, fully expressed and fully alive.

When you work with me, we focus on:

  • Nourishing your body and supporting your physiology

  • Developing clarity of mind

  • Develop healthy relational connection skills

  • Support a deep connection with yourself and the natural environment

  • Cultivating your vitality and your erotic sensual side

  • Releasing and unwinding old patterns

  • Releasing dogma and reclaiming inner your authority

  • Clarifying your purpose

  • Deciding how you make your meaning in the world, your work in the world, your vision, your legacy.

What I stand for

I am an educator and a fighter. I stand up for what I believe in and I speak out against injustice.

I am a believer in equality, inclusivity and diversity.

I am an advocate for the importance of kindness, care and humanity in the
practice of medicine.

I am a lover of life and of learning. I am a beginner cellist, a small wave surfer and
dog lover.

I am all of these things.

And all of my history has brought me here.

Living, working, and exploring life on Gumbaynggirr Country.
