Speaking & Facilitating

Dr Ashlea Broomfield, a GP, sexologist and vitality coach is standing in the doorway of her private practice in Woolgoolga. Her back is against the door, and she’s holding a tea with a warm, welcoming smile.

Hi, I'm Dr Ashlea.

I am an experienced speaker, facilitator and educator who has presented at conferences, workshops and more.

I have an engaging, interactive and grounded approach and am comfortable holding space for difficult conversations on tough topics.

As a GP with an interest in self-care, eating disorders, sexual problems, chronic pain, stress, burnout and trauma, I am confident supporting group exploration around these themes.

I do this through a combination of experiential self-reflection, scientific evidence and high-quality content.

I AM an ADVOCATE FOR DEEP CONNECTION and care for ALL PARTS OF YOURSELF — THE physical, mental, sensual and spiritual.

so that you can look after yourself, perform your best and make your mark.

I have a long history of advocating for and teaching in the realm of Doctor’s health and wellbeing.

In addition to my Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, I have also obtained a Fellowship with the Australian Society of Psychological Medicine , am a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician and have completed a Masters in Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health — specialising in Psychosexual Therapy).

In 2018, as the first RACGP NSW/ACT New Fellows Committee Chair - I championed, curated and facilitated the inaugural ‘RACGP NSW & ACT Wellbeing Weekend, which is now run as an annual RACGP event.

I also sat on the RACGP NSW/ACT Faculty Council as Co-Vice-Chair and the RACGP Pre-Fellowship Expert Committee.

I was subsequently awarded the RACGP NSW & ACT Eric Fisher Award for excellence in promoting Doctor’s Health and Wellbeing.

I have presented at multiple conferences, workshops and events on a variety of topics and enjoy creating unique experiences.
